Drs. Sherida Pinas is een uit Suriname afkomstige theatermaker, singer-songwriter en neurologisch muziektherapeut die kunst en klinische heling op unieke wijze samenbrengt. Van achter de piano deelt zij via haar kenmerkende jazzy, soulvolle stem en indringende spoken word diepgaande persoonlijke en universele verhalen. Haar werk adresseert taboes en complexe thema's zoals misbruik en relaties, en creëert een veilige ruimte voor dialoog, empathie en collectieve heling.

Drs. Sherida Pinas is a Surinamese-born theater maker, singer-songwriter, and neurological music therapist who uniquely bridges art and clinical healing. Sitting behind the piano, she uses her signature jazzy, soulful sound and spoken word to share compelling personal and universal stories. Her work fearlessly tackles societal taboos and trauma, creating a safe, communal space for open dialogue, empathy, and collective healing.
